Summary
The story happens in a kitchen. It’s about a family with 2 children. The man enters the house angrily and asks whose children are these two? He has realized that he is infertile because he has taken a prostate test recently but paradoxically he has 2 children! The argument arises, and finally, the woman confesses that the children are his brother’s. When the man tries to kill the children, he is murdered by his wife with a kitchen knife.
About the performance
This play is based on “Taziye” techniques (traditional Iranian religious passion-play) but with a contemporary atmosphere, location, and series of events. The play is narrated with classic Farsi poems, and the actors sing in Farsi. A contemporary occurrence in a modern kitchen is performed in a traditional format.
